Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) co-organized the 12th International Youth Day with other 24 non-government organizations, associations and youth clubs such as KYA, YFP, YCC, PDP, KIND, KYSD, YCHD, NFC, ANSA, CVS, CYA, PF, CYN, SAC, MB, OYG, FAAC, SYS, YSSD, MYD, YCDA, NHY, Christian Youth and ICE.
This anniversary is annually celebrated on 12th August which is the day aiming to allow all the youth from different schools and universities throughout Cambodia to gather together to attend, share and speak out their concerns for the government to respond and solve their problems because of more youths be graduating and graduated have lived with issues and also the day for youth to reflect and think about their present future actions.
This year 2011, Friday, 12th August, the 12th International Youth Day was attended by more than 600 youths from diversified schools and universities throughout Cambodia focused on the topic of the Theme Dialogue and Mutual Understanding with panel discussion on (1) “Meaningful Youth Participation in Public” by Mr. Young Kim Eng, President of PDP-Center, (2) “Voluntary Work” by Mr. Yi Sakun, Human Resource Manager, ANZ Royal and (3) “Education, Vocational Training and Youth Ability Development” by Mr. Soth Nimol, Education Technical Assistant, UNESCO.
Mr. Sawin, PCUSA of YRDP, was capturing video the event with his colleague Mr. Hong Chivon, the PCUA of YRDP to capture fixed photos of the event which is the very busy event to assist and join with the Youth happening this event. This event started at 7:30am until 18:00pm affiliated much satisfactory.
